  • When Williams won his Oscar for Jaws at the 1976 Academy Awards, he did not have to walk far because he was conducting the orchestra for the award ceremony!

  • Williams met Steven Speilberg, a famous movie director, on a blind lunch date in 1972. Since then, they have collaborated on many films.
