- Rossini wrote 39 operas, many of which are still performed today!
- He created the “Rossini Crescendo”, in which the orchestral sound builds up over a repeated phrase to create an exciting climax to his overtures.
- Rossini was known for being a procrastinator. He often wrote many of his operas in a very short period of time.
